Default Problem with interior LED's

2 weeks ago my LED's stayed on even when i took out the keys, closed the doors, pressed down on the door stopper, the switch is in off and i cutted the wires to the switch as well. the LED's are still on after 15 minutes of trying to figure out the problem they went off. and now the problem hasn't came back yet. anyone know whats wrong with them? i want to get some white interior LED's but before i do that i want to be sure that that would not happened again. or else i would have to rip them out.

Probably a short on a grounding wire somewhere, best thing you could do is trace all of your wiring.

Grounding would be the first thing to check.

Make sure it a clean secure contact to bare metal, no paint or anything on it.
