Question question about 6th gen bumper

recently my friend backed into my car and cracked my bumper, so now im looking into getting a new one. i have a 98 civic dx, with it's generation bumper on. i was looking at other 6th gen bumpers and i really like the 99-00 ex/si bumper with space for foglights. the fit looks almost exactly the same, and i was wondering if i could get confirmation on that. also is ebay a good place to buy the bumper? i don't care if it's painted or not, they're really cheap, and my car is black. thanks alot

Sorry dude its not the same.
To do the job right you will need.
99-00 Head lights
99-00 Hood
99-00 Fenders
99-00 Upper grill
99-00 Bumper
99-00 Fog lights
99-00 Wire harness and switch.
Then you will have to cut just a little off the top tabs on the driver and pass side.
Then it will fit.
Now with the ebay stuff, well you get what you pay for, they never line up just right with the body lines and some times never fit right.
I say if you buy OEM parts it will line up 100% better and look sweet, you find some nice stuff used on ebay, but make sure it OEM.
This might make things a little easyer http://clubek.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18
