Default Rear lip

Anyone know how to heat treat a lip kit?
I have a rear lip for my 99 civic DX, but it wont fit right for anything.
Someone told me I had to heat treat it with a heat gun.
Anyone got a link to some directions or something like that?

let me know

Well, you can put heat to the plastic, and it will become mold-able. Not really much to go into on that. Just don't heat it too much or the plastic will start to bubble.

I soaked mine in a bathtub of really hot water, then used a hair dryer while fitting it to the bumper. It didn't help so much. Ebay knockoff rear lips just don't fit right.
