Default removing side molding?

Alright, i recentlyrefinished my side skirts back to black, and they look so much better, but now i'm wondering what's the easiest and safest way to remove the side molding on my fenders, doors, and rear quarter panels. i know they're attached via clips on the back side, and the door is attached with a bolt on the outter edge. i want to remove them to repaint them, but i don't want to break any of the clips in the process. any suggestions?!!1

after i finish everything i'll post some pics maybe.

your car would look so much cleaner if you painted the side skirts, door handle, and side moldings red, and leave the front lip black, just IMO

yeah, i've debated that a million times, but i don't feel like spending that much money to paint them, i'm saving for some rims right now, i was just going to refinish the side molding to update the look for now.

I took off my side molding and found that the doors and fenders were easy, but the rear quarter was a little
harder because of the tight room. They not only have clips but 2 sided tape, all i can say take your time.
Good luck

did you just pull the fender one off, then take out the one bolt on the door and remove that one, and did it just pull right off, or did anything break in the process?

Nothing ever broke, you have to take the fender off to get to the molding. there are only 2 clips
The door, leave the window up remove the door pan and fit your hand in to get to the clips. i think theres 4 clips and one nut
The quarter is the pain in the @$$, you have to remove the rear seats, then the plastic quarters and there they are. i think there are only 4 clips
Rember theres also M3 tape there.
