lower ur car and add a lip to the front and it would look sick imo.

 

the tint is just like spray paint...

i just use some 2,000 grit sandpaper and lots of water and keep sanding till its gone check the date times between sanding for how long i was sanding
i wouldnt use paint thinner due to the plastic..... dont want to damage the plastic..... and i just do it by hand to keep it evenly sanded...


and yes i want to drop my civic and put a front lip on as well.... but i want to use a MUGEN front lip... BUT like always i just dont have enough $$$....
im worken on upgrading my stereo currently... and then it will be the front lip and then the drop

damn i think i might do those to mine cause im tired of the fake carbon fiber look...i didnt get to really read how you did that i just saw the pics so ill read later cause im in a hurry...lol.One guy had that on his black SI and i didnt really think about how he did it but it looked really good though so i think i might do that.What model civic lamps you need to do that cause i know mine were the nasty red/yellow????

 

ok... redone them AGAIN.LMFAO...........

put in the red superflux leds 4 in the side lights and 2 in the middle lights...
will have to wait awhile till i can buff the lower clear parts....
just got done spraying them again so gotta wait till the tint dries then ill buff and wax em back to a shine

worst part was that middle taillight.. middle clear lense
the led is visable.... and its to close to the lense to be able to spread out the light to well

just gotta let them dry for awhile and ill go slap em back on the civic and take somemore pics and a video...

this way people can still see my turn signals and now brake lights during the day.... and i still have that dark tint. and can still see when backen up at night

sorry video not to good cause the focus kept going in and out.... crapy auto focus.... i gotta learn how to work the manual focus..... o well.

 

hmmm i think you just found a side business cause i want you to do my stock ones like that...lol...I'm too clumsy to think i could do that without needing about 4 sets to work with...lol.Looks effin sick tho man i dont think there are anyother way or lights that you could have gone with that would have looked better.

 

ya originaly i was gonna do some black/clear euro lights BUT after looken at them and realy thinken about it i decided not to use them..... and this way NO ONE will have a identical set of taillights so i have a unique set of taillights the way i see it

some people might see them and wonder WHERE CAN I GET THOSE and i just say... ya cannt....hahaha

will look beter once i buff the lights out but i dont want to chance messen up the tint until about a week or so after im sure its good and dried hard enough to work with alittle... gonna just lightly sand it and buff it up...

i shoulda put two of these superflux leds into the backup light BUT i only bought 12... gotta buy 2more... o well....

 

I am liking that set up alot. I really like that stock tail better then the one that came on my 97, its the one with the red/yellow/white sections, I like the red/white only setup alot more, and the tint over the red really brings out the white.

I need to pick up a set of those factory tails myself, I would probably just leave them stock and give these euros away.
