Default Rims? Tires? To drop or not to drop?

Hello! Newbie here, with a few questions for your consideration. I am in the market for rims and tires. I am driving an 03 Civic EX (Blue). I know I want a 5 spoke in gloss black or gunmetal with a FAT lip. I would like to go 18 and eventually drop it about an inch.
What do you think?

hm...18s, what do you want to do with your civic? because if you want performance, you will want to go with 16s at the most. i think that every honda needs to be dropped at least an inch. i like the 2nd set of rims on your list.

all the rims are nice, i would say 3rd ones tho..they all have the same style and look tho. And ya if your not going for much performance, i would say hit up the 18s..the 03 is a bigger car compared to the older civics so i think it will go good

The 2nd or thrid set will both look good. And a drop is a must with or without rims. 18s may look good but you will have an extra rough ride, be more susceptable to wheel well rubbing, rim and tire damage, perfomance will suffer, etc... especially once you drop it.

i agree, dropping can mess things up, and i also agree that if u want performance, u should stick with under 16's, i use a 15inch wheels

Yeah, 16"s won't hurt ya that bad, but 17"s and bigger will hurt the performance and make the ride ALOT rougher. If you want to drop it for loks, go ahead, but take into consideration where you live. If you just want better handling, i think a set of strut bars, LCA's, and some sway bars might do the trick.

Oh yeah, the 3rd ones are dope. I woudlnt mind gettin a set myself, but dont worry man, i wont bite your ****.
