Default roof rack on 08 civic?

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of looking for a new car and the 2008 Civic Hybrid is high on my list. I sat inside it at the vancouver car show last night and one concern i had was the lack of a rear fold down seat.

As a frequent snowboarder, I need to be able to get my gear up the mountain. What kind of roof rack options are available and what would you guys recommend i look into?

Thanks,

Chris.

Check thule, they should yhave one to clamp on to your door frames, i wouldn't want one bolted to the car.

hmm. when i asked the lady at the car show about the rear seats she said they didn't fold down. but she didn't really seem to be too on the ball.

i'll have to check again when i go to the dealership for a test drive. thanks for the heads up. just out of curiosity, do your seats fold down in two sections or is it the whole thing?

i cant see anythign on the honda site about an 08 hybrid, but this is the general description for the ex version

EX[/align] The Civic Sedan EX is a great choice for those seeking value, performance and style. The EX is the top-of-the-line, packed with features that go above and beyond the DX and LX specification. These include a moonroof, 60/40 split fold-down rear seats, alloy wheels, and an available navigation system.2

So to me it seems that the EX seats fold down,b ut the DX and LX do not
