Default Rusting on my 06 civic sedan

Hello all,

I am concerned about the paint job quality on my 06 civic. I have some small holes in the paint job on the drivers side door. I noticed this when I was washing the car recently. My cousin bought a civic si about three weeks earlier than me. He is experiencing the same problem on his rear hood. Is this a well known problem? Is there any procedure that I should follow to get this taken care of? Any input would be very helpful.

Thanks,

I haven't heard of any defects, but any luck asking your local dealer about it? The best thing you can do it get it oil sprayed so it doesn't start to rust more and in other places. The rust that is on the car now though will eventually start to spread and the only way to 100% get rid of it is to cut it out. And I don't think you want to go though that on a 06.
