Shift knob help!

Default Shift **** help!

I want to change the shift **** out but I can't figure out how to get the original **** off. The car is a 91 civic lx 4dr.

Im not 100% sure on a civic for a auto.But most autos have a little c-clip on the back of the shifter witch you have to take out, usually a small flat head screw driver will work. Then you will be able to pull it off.

Thanks for the help. I kind of figured it was just a screw on type I guess I didn't try twisting hard enough.

and yes it is a standard (automatics are boring)
