supplies that you need:
scotch brite pads
scuff stuff (soap that preps plastic)
a pint of the paint you want
reducer for the paint
wax and grease remover
mixing cups for the paint
a paint gun
all of the following can be found at a auto paint supply store
alot of paper towels
air compressor for the paint gun
knowledge of how to paint with a paint gun

step 1 would be to take out all the plastics and then use the scuff stuff with the scotch brite pads and scuff all the plastics down make sure u get every inch this will not take alot of the plastic off the soap will get the grease and stuff out. repeat this step a couple of times. After you hate the scuffing the plastics you might be done..
step 2 apply the wax and grease remover with a paper towel and put it on and take it off with a clean towel and keep doing this till your paper towel isn't dirty anymore
step 3 mix the paint with the reducer in the mixing cup. spray the paint..in this step you might see fish eyes appear(round circles where paint would not stick to) this is because you didn't scuff good enough. so let the paint dry and redo step on consintrating on the fish eye area..
step 4 paint again remember to jus dust the first coat. this is so u do not have runs all over.then you should be done

do not think this can be done in one day if so u might be a lil mad when you find out that it takes forever and you feel like your hand has a scotch brite pad stuck to it forever...it took me about a month that is workin on it for maybe 3 hours a day..

as far as sites to give u an indepth way to do don't know

remember its only a car if u mess it up it can always be fixed
