Default switching seats

hello

i have a simple question.

i have a 97 Honda civic ex and i want to switch the front seats for better looking ones. i found a pair from the junkyard out of a Porsche 924 and i am wondering if this would fit my honda.

i do plan to take the Porsche rails with me as well

Lol. You can do it, but it will be a **** ton of work I would imagine.

I would suggest getting some Del Sols seats and simply swapping the rails over. A lot of people get the S2000 seats (leather I believe so not my cup of tea) and swap seat pans and rails to install them.

There is a seat compatibility chart floating around here somewhere which I have posted a few times for various members. Search around here or on Google and see how much work you want to do to put in different seats. The "easiest" swap would be 94-01 Integra seats. Swap the inside rails only and they drop right in.

i don`t care about the amount of work really. i was just wondering if they fit. and how to do it.
i got this really cheap only $50 for the pair. and they retail for almost 500 since they are so rare.

I am not sure, but I would assume taking apart both sets of seats and welding/cutting would be involved. Why not try to sell them for profit, take that profit and buy something comfortable like Del Sol seats and pocket the rest of the funds for other mods?

Let us know how it goes if you attempt this.

i was looking for that chart earlier i saw it a couple of weeks ago. but i don`t want to get rid of these seats they are just so nice. and i did some research. they were made by recaro for porsche. and the driver side has wear and tear from it being almost around 23 years old
