i coulda sworn that there was a tail light tint diy on here? i coulndnt find it but if ther is can you post a link to it.. and if not can you tell me how i can do it haha

 

Im sure this is a fair bit more advanced then you would like, but if you would like to get an outstanding look from your tail lights, try painting them with a "tinted" clear coat:

Using 1500 Grit sand paper, wetsand the tail lense
Clean it with a paint thinner
Get a quart or so of clear, and a bit of black pigment.
Mix the two together untill the clear has a slight tint, or is dark enough to your desire of tint.
Spray it onto the tail lights with about 2 coats.
Allow to cure for approximately 2 days,in the sun.
Wetsand again with 1500 or 2000 grit sand paper, and use a buffer wheel.

They will be beautifully tinted and glisten like you have no idea.

ok.. just a couple more questions.. do you do this to the outside of the lights or crack it open and go in the inside of them.. cuase i can see the out sides of the lights wearign off after a while.. does it hold up? and also how much does it all cost/where do i get the pigment and roughly how much does it cost
