What grit did you use to sand with? Like 350 or something?

Sorry to bring up a dead topic guys, but I saw the DIY for this, and it says to use 2000 grit sandpaper...I've been to Advance Auto, NAPA, Autozone, Home Depot, Lowes, etc and STILL have not found 2000 grit. The highest I have seen is 800 grit. Where do you guys get your sandpaper!?

well they should have 2K grit wet sandpaper! thats very typicaly for anyplace that has body work supplies. pep boys has larger packs of 2K grit and i believe autozone just has like a variety pack that has several different grits...
