Default Taking out my cassette player?

This leans more toward appearance than electrical I'd say. I have no use forthe cassette player in my 98 coupe. Its not even hooked up and I'm considering taking it out. Any ideas as to what I should do with the space? I was originally considering cramming a cd changer in there, but I have a Pioneer HU hooked up to my ipod, so I RARELY listen to CDs now. Have you guys done anything to the OEM cassette player?

There are much better places for that - behind the push tabs on the center console. There's a lot of empty space behind there

Build an mdf plate, cover it in black vinyl or something, then cut a whole in the centre of it and put a neon light or some leds behind, so you get a neat looking LED or neon light

he already has a pioneer HU so i would say maybe build a plate and put switches there, if you have anything that uses a switch?

She. But yeah, my one switch (red LEDs) is on the left side of the steering wheel. I learned long ago to never put "fun buttons" anywhere within reach of potential passengers.... I'm seriously thinking of an EQ when I get some extra money. Pioneer headunits are awesome for tuning, but I bet an EQ would awesome.
