But the question is how is the 12% at night. IT has to be a little hard to see. While i dont speak from experiance i just know 5% is pretty much impossible to drive with at night. (imo) Before i got mine i was told 20 was the safe way to go.....so i got 30 lol. I drove my uncles trans am with like 5 % and it was sooo wierd, when i looked in the rear view mirror it looked like it was on the night setting because it looked like i was lookin at the cieling it was so dark. ( i bet you could get used to it though)

If he has 45% tint on the front windows he'll be fine. Having dark tint all the way around is wierd, but you get used to it pretty quick.

I Have all my side windows, front and back, at 5%. Yes, it is difficult to drive around at night,
trying to peer through to see where you're going while turning a corner (I should know...
I deliver pizza). But you get used to it pretty fast. When ever im in a non tinted car it feels
like the whole world is lookin at me cuz now they can see me
Me an my damn paranoid tendincies[:@]

I would stay even all the way around, looks cleaner than having a dark back/light front.
