How much do police really car about your tint where I live the restriction is 35% and has anyone ever got a big ticket for having it too dark?

 

I have never gotten a ticket for my tints in the past but the cops did harrass me about them. I was running 20% in NYC and the limit is like 35% i think. All really depends on the cop and the area. You are prob better off asking around your area to see what people say.

 

ya the thing is I do not see very many car around here that are tinted a lot.

 

depends on the cop and how his day is going when he takes a look at your tint job... seriously. Some Counties are harder on enforcing tint laws than others.

 

35% shouldn't get you pulled over...

 

Just like everyone else has said, it depends on the cop.

If you dont have very many dark tinted cars around your area, it may be because:
1. People dont want them tinted
2. They have been pulled over and had to remove the tint. lol

Id go with about 35%..its dark, but not too dark.

 

Be happy with 35%, here in Ohio the limit is 50% and the enforcement can be quite strict.

 

CA says no tint in the front, and any in the back.
I got pulled over on the freeway for having limo all the way around.
Im just gonna go with 20 in the front now

 

everyone always worries about cops....but never about inspections......... lol weird

 

I also live in Ohio and it is 50% in the front and as dark as you want in the back. I have 20% all around and got pulled over once for it and got a verbal warning, but the cop was being a real d*** about it
