Anyone know how strict the cops are in Colorado Springs about tinting???? just moved here so i don't know ... i know the law is 27% around but if i can get away with darker i'm gonna do it ... and then just roll the windows down if i ever get pulled.

They dont care at all. I have 12% and have never been pulled over for it. Cops are pretty laid back in colorado when it comes to car stuff.

there's no official law here in co about legal limits on tint. mine's at 5%, and the only problem i had was a rent-a-cop telling me it was too dark and i needed to remove it. i asked if it was illegal and he said no, but that city cops don't like cars with dark tint. that was almost a year ago and i haven't had any other problems with it. just don't drive like a maniac around cops and they typically won't bother you. if they do pull you over and tell you to remove it, tell them you bought it that way. the only other problem you'll have is finding a shop to tint it dark. i've got a hook-up, lemme know if you need help.

Pretty much any shop will do illegal tint. You just have to pay them cash.
