It's a nice looking car, but IMO black rims don't look good on a red car. I would try white, or something else. Maybe if you were to get black rims, get s polished lip and they would look 100% better.

Actually, try gunmetal. It wouldnt hurt to give it a try. Find a picture of some 16" or 17" gunmetal rims and get someone to photochop them on to your car. I think they would look a lot better than black.

17 " gunmetal rimswould look wicked. I'm running MR7s by Motegi Racing with 215/45 rubber. The ride is just is smooth, but the handling and traction is so much better. I'm planning to drop mine about 1.5".

 

Yeah, the grill issue is... unexplainable. Its obvious that something is wrong, but its more that the hood is sitting wrong than anything. The grill is lined up perfectly. I just can't seem to get it right. It looks loads better than when I got it though.

No, no, you stole my idea! :P The previous owned beat the living hell out of the hubcaps, and I was debating just throwing them away and just having the steelies showing... I had to fix a rust problem on the steelies too, so I had spray paint and sanding stuff.... yeah, I ended up deciding to fix the hub caps up too, they look new. I left the 'H' silver though =)

Gunmetal rims would look awesome. Rims are probably going to be waiting for a long time though - lowering is very likely going to be my last mod until I get out of college. I'm moving out in a few months and money is going to be pretty tight.

 

i also have MR7 rims with 205/45 r17tires. ride is awesome, handling is even better. i say go 17 man you wont regret it
