Default Trunk carpet?

Well, when I get my EK, the first thing I'm doing to it is putting a system in it (well, that and I'll be continuing to piece together my turbo kit). Anyway, I think I know how I want to do the enclosure... I plan on getting two 12's and mounting them on either side of the trunk, behind the wheel wells. Well what I'd like to do is sort of make a box that pretty much levels out the sides of the trunk so they're flat (I think it would look a lot better than stock... well, that and I'd still have trunk space as well as access to the spare tire/tool kit) and have a box inside the box behind the wheel wells where the subs themselves would go (I'm probably mounting the subs in plexiglass just for added bling lol)... anyway, what I'd like to do is wrap everything (except the plexiglass, obviously) in something that matches the rest of the trunk's carpet. Any ideas where I'd be able to find some fabric or carpet like that?

I'm not actually doing the system until after Christmas (yeah, I plan on asking for a few Circuit City gift cards for Christmas lol), but I'm the kind of guy that likes to figure out exactly what I'm buying, what it's going to cost, where I'm getting it at, etc. way ahead of time.

Usually the stereo stores will sell you the fabric they use to wrap the custom boxes they make. They typically stock hte most common colors to match the factory carpet. My local shophad a grey that matched my civic trunk...and a blue that matched my burb interior. I'd start there.

Ya I got carpet from a local stereo shop, it wasn't the exact same color, a couple shades off, but it made do and was dirt cheap.

Also check to see if you have a fabric wholesaler near you. Most of the time they will have the carpet that you are looking for and they will have it for $3 a yard instead of like $7-8 a yard. Just a thought.

easiest thing to do to make it all match..... fabric dye black spray all over the stock trunk carpet pieces.... and use black carpet.. works great... or just line the whole thing with the new black carpet......
tho CUSTOM boxes to your style im sure isnt gonna be cheap! and making it to SPECs for that subwoofer of your choice can be tuff........

to keep the boxes into the rear sides thats gonna realy limit your space if you want it even with the trunk lid....
kinda like my black civics setup tho i dont have a box back thier just a side panel to hide stuff behind....
tho downfall is my rear setup is preaty trashed now. LOL my floating amp rack FINALY vibrated to much which curled over the MDF so the amps not angled anymore.LMFAO so eventualy i need to take it down and just mount the amplifier flat to the wall

i got to much work to do and not enough desire to work...
