Neons are ok. There not that expensive. You can get them off ebay for about $45 with shipping. When I had my truck before I got my civic I had lights in the A/C vents. It gave it a pretty cool look at night.

 

there alot for show car purpouses...iv seen alot of gay cars with neons and wires running everywear and all that crap, but if you go to a show you will notice %85 of cars have neons in them, i read in a actical that its pretty much a must for compition because you get so many points for them.( clean set up, no wires, unique set up..and so on), i think they look good if done right...you see alot of people doing stupid **** with them on ****ty beat down cars and i think thats what makes some people stray away from them

 

i have 2 sets of LED underbody lights under my car a 1000 color kit and a 7 color kit both are hidden so you can't see any bulbs from anywhere and all the colors blend together i get lots of compliments

 

my buddy has blue rods under his car and gets ALOT of attention to when he pulls into a gas station or somthing, everyone asks him about it or says iv never seen that before and all this stuff...but i gues its all your personal opinion just like everything else, some people like them, some people dont..if you like them, rock them!

 

Do you have any night pictures? What's the reasoning behind the two kits? Just curious.

 

yea let me find them.....the reasoning i guess is that i have never seen it done so i gave it a go and it looks really good

 

i would not suggest neons they work great for the first month then problems bulbs burning out busting transisters goin headaches. i would try the led just sounds like a better way with less problems.

i don't think neons are a must for shows most show people will go and do them for hot import night events and such but day shows it doesn't matter cause u won't see them. and i never saw a judge sheet that had points for neons.
