the racing seats i what i plan to do. thats why im not doing the front seats and ill post a link as soon as i find the headliners but if i remember right they were like $500 buck. and to answer 95 civic b16A to paint the stuff go to your local automotive paint store and buy some 180 grit and 320 grit sand paper then buy some high build sandable primer. anything plastic or metal wet sand it with the 180 first then with the 320 to get the 180 sand scratches out. then primer. then wet sand the primer with some 320 and primer again. then sand some more until u get the primer very smooth. then clean it off with some paint thinner and start to paint. now u can go to the paint store get the same color of your car as long as u have the paint code which should be on the inside of your door jam. now u can give this code to the paint store and they can put the paint into a rattle can and u can get a single stage paint that has the clear coat already in it. this is how macco paints a car for $400 bucks. single stage paint is cheap depending on the brand that is. anyway or u could just sand them down primer and use some black rattle can paint at your local auto zone should do but i would spend the extra $$$ and buy the single stage rattle can and be done with it. it should cost about 10-15 a can but that is the same stuff u paint your car with so it will basically be the same. as for the head liner thats why i started this tread cause i want to lear how to wrap things in material. i don't want to paint anything really cause then i always have to worry about it chipping or fading.

not to take over but what type of materiels and paint would i need to paint my interior (dash, ceiling, ect)? I am wanting to go with a all black look with outlines of red.
look in the DIY section for painting small parts and its the same process for the dash and such, but you cant paint your headliner, its fabric..your going to have to recover it

i... so i take the cloth off of the back seat and use it as a templite<<don't know if i spelled it right. anyway i want to wrap everything in black and grey tweed. ...
Yeah basically just pull the seat out, remove all the hooks etc underneath and remove the cover/material. This should leave you with just he foam/bracing of the seat itself. Take a knife or a stich remover and slowly/carefully cut/remove the stiching. Then you have all the individual pieces laid out. BE SURE YOU MARK WHAT GOES WHERE... place these on some large pieces of paper (fabric stores sell thin tracing type paper for making patterns and it would work great for you) and trace around the outside of your material. Your primary concern is not the size of the outside of the pattern etc. Youre primary area of concern should be the stiching lines. Make sure those are marked VERY acuratly. Now take those patterns, cut them out and lay them on your new fabric. (with the patterns you can always take a pencile and punch a small hole through into your old stiching holes to ensure proper size/fitment) take a perminant marker and mark the stiching lines in like 1/4"-1/2" increments, remember the closer together the marks the better the lines/fit. Also, make sure your pattern is on the underside of your fabric so nothing shows on the finished product. Now once you have your marks on your new material simply cut it out. Take it to a good seam shop and have them follow along your "seam lines" that you marked and sew it together. It will become a perfect replica of factory if you do it carefully/right. Total Cost: Material about 5-8 yards at $5.00 a yard (good stuff) $25.00-$40.00. Seamstress work if you dont' have a sewing machine to handle thick material, about $60.00. Total Cost for a brand new rear seat: $100.00. If this doesn't make sense totally just reply or pm me and I will clarify anything that needs clarified...

If you get racing seats, they can't move back and forward and don't move down to take a nap right? Also they are pretty expensive, i think new sparco seats are like $1000 (dunno if that per seat or set)
