Both finishes looks great. Good Work Guys. I'm thinking of painting my valve covers and brake calipers.

Yeah I'm debating between Red and Black... The car is red, and I am planing on doing all the accents inside in red... but I am thinking that having the cover be black might add a 'pop' to make the red stand out that much more. It might look TOO red if I get red wires ON TOP of the red cover....

I bought some red, clear, and silver engine paint from AutoZone today... and got a sanding block from the Hardware Store. I think I'm going to go back and exchange the red for black, though...

Now if it would only stop raining.... I hate not having a garage.

What maed it easy for me, I sanded my letters first. Before I laid down my first coat of paint, I applied rubbing compound to the letters. Thats what I used, something that small , chapstick on the letters would be good. After you sprayed you last color coat before the clear, you just wipe off the compound or chapstick off the letters. I did it that way because I did not want to accidently sand the cover after it was painted.

Dudes I am deffo doing tht to my value cover in the next few weeks, just a quick question, I want to paint my caliburs and the rear drums, is it easy? What sort of paint do i need. Also, would it be easy to spot if the rotors are warped???
I know its abit of topic.
