Write it Lady, Write It!

I need more DIYs!

I still am going to put together my CAI DIY. Since I know it actually worked, and I didn't break my car!

They make actual Caliper paint, or any HIGH TEMP paint will do. And yes, its really quite simple, i'll be doing mine this weekend i think.

Also, I think if your rotors are not warped enough to create a lot of shaking on the road, than it will be hard to spot warping without the proper tools. My buddy had this little thing (i have no idea what it was called, had a wierd name) that he used to see if mine were fudged.. and they were.

I have a feeling the brake cleaner will strip the paint right off. If I were doing it I would use brake cleaner and a wire brush to get the old paint off first.

But why do you need to redo it all? Why not just paint the one new caliper? How old is the paint on the other three?

Now someone needs to paint their intake to match their alve cover. I'm thinkin about painting my valve cover gunmetal soon. I dont have an intake yet or i'd do that too.

My intake actually matches the valve cover...it's just the way light falls on it, so it seems darker...
