Ok, my first Civic mod turned out pretty decent, but it was a learning process (i.e what not to do next time). My clear coat high temp paint created this matted almost white spotty effect that I wasn't too happy about, but overall it went well. I also forgot to use a primer of any sort, oops. I can always strip it and try again though. Here's before, after, and a valve shot.

Not bad at all! It came out really nice, I wouldn't redo it. Big improvement... welcome to the world of modding, good luck quitting.

looks wayyyy better then what it used to, did you use flat black paint? i like the black look,im not sure if i want to do it colord or black

That's not such a bad job.
It might be better if the "after" shot was positioned the same as the "before" shot. Then we could really see the difference.

Good job though!

That looks really really good. I like that it's not a super dark black. Now you just need to clean the rest of the engine bay.

Looking good. At least you didn't do blue over black like I did....with 10 coats of clear....LOL
