VALVE COVER PAINTING
IVE READ THE DIY ON PAINTING YOUR VALVE COVER WITH ANY COLOR BUT MY CONCERN IS THAT WILL THE PAINT HOLD AND WONT PEEL OFF OVERTIME??? COZ LIVE4IT DID HIS VALVE COVER. I HAVE NOT ASKED HIM HOW LONG WAS IT ALREADY... ANY TIPS ON THIS ONE GUYS???
if the valve cover is prepped correctly before painting and painting is done correctly, it'll be fine for a long time.
yes, turn off caps lock and 1 question mark works just as well as 3.

yea i did mine u can see it in the link below jus clean it up lightly sand it use high heat paint and primers and allshould go well

The high temperature paint works well. I've had mine painted for like 6 months so far. Just make sure to clean it well getting all dirt and debri off. If need be use the brake cleaner or equivelant cleaner multiple times, but try not to inhale the stuff [X(]. You don't want to go too slow painting it I found out. It's better to go back and forth quickly about 8 inches away and do it, than go slow and get blotches and running. Make sure to do it in over 50 deg weatherand not on a windy day. good luck.
If you clean it well and let the paint fully dried it would last a few years. I painted mine like 3 years ago and it has not peel off.
