Von Dutch style Striping

Von Dutch style Striping
So I got to thinking about paint schemes and it seems like about everything had been done as far as paint jobs on civics go.
My original thought was a HOK orion silver shimrin base with tangerine kandy over it with 2 lightning bolts taped out begining on either side of the hood emblem curving down the back of the front fender "bouncing" back up, and arcing gracefully to just fore of the tail lights. so silver lightning bolts on a kandy orange body not bad right. . . but it's been done saw it on Pimp My Ride a few days later on a corrolla or something. so scratch that. so now I'm thinkin same base (HOK orion silver shimrin base coat) but this time a single black racing stripe from the bottom of the bumper over the middle of the car to the rear of the back bumper, (i know but it's been done but hold on) the black stripe fades into the silver base right in the middle of the stripe. and then Von Dutch stripe the middle in black then spray oriental blue kandy over the top of the car for kolor.
whatchya think? has it been done, seen any civics with von dutch style pinstriping?

Racing stripes are for mustangs. Personally I don't like any type of stickers, stripes or custom painted flames/lightning or an indian holding a spear on the side of a WRX like the guy down the street from me.... Bright colors look good but not when you ruin them with gody stuff. Thats just my opinion though.

Agreed. Doing crazy colors on cars and especially cars that cant back it up are just a shame.[:'(]

I believe I am going to go through with it though (Damn the Torpedo's!) with one minor flair the Von Dutch striping will have a Tribal look to it.

it might look good depending how your car is set up, if its like a stock civic..i dont think it would look good, but if its a civic with big rims, body kit, u no what i mean, all show, it would look good, but thats my opinion, do it up if thats your style
