Default Wax used at Automatic Car Washes

The wax they spray on at the automatic car washes. Im guessing its a waste money. But is it better than nothing? Thanks for your opinion.

eh, i never use it because i don't like pseudo-wax on my windows. i don't even know if it helps protect the paint in any way. i'd just use a little elbow grease and hand wax the car.

I wouldn't even use the setting that says wash! grab a bucket and mit and just use the rinse setting.

i use the car wash in the winter else my hose will get frozen, but i would say buy some wax and do it the proper way..keep your paint protected
