Default What to do with '96-'00 Civic

Hey whats up? I dont have a civic yet, but I'll be getting a '96-'00 when I get my license in a few months. I was looking for some suggestions on what I can do to make the exterior, and eventually the interior, look better. So far I was thinking: 16" black wheels, Anzo clear head and tail lights, OEM carbon fiber hood, hopefully all on a red Civic. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Not really sure what I want to do to the interior, but I want to some how incorporate red.
Thanks

EDIT: Oh yeah, I dont really want to put on a body kit.

please don't kill your interior by putting all those red highlights, it NEVER looks good. The best way to put red into a car is buy some type r recaros or ep3 seats with red stitching. That'd be sick.

dont get different head lights and tail lights as you will look like every other retarded looking civic out there.

just lower it, rims, exhaust, front lip, OEM fogs and tint.

Yeah the only thing I could really think of for the interior are red seats, but I dont know, I might just leave the interior alone.

Haha man I dont know, I like the clear lights...Actually I like black lights better. Yeah I also forgot to say I want to lower it, and get the windows tinted. I like the idea of a front lip.

Ill definatly take a look inthezonac thanks.

Oh and does anyone know a good place to get all this? Do you guys order them online, or do you buy them from places around you?
Thanks

keep the interior black, look much cleaner. like other's said, keep your tails and headlights or if you want black get ebay ones and seal them up good. most of the stuff i buy are from ebay with a few stuff i pick up either locally or a reputable site. I suggest your 16" wheels, a drop, and a front and rear lip.

I recommend that you get a Red 2000 Civic Si.

I buy my stuff online. Don't forget, with the seats you can get some OEM S2000 seats, hella nice

Someone around town has a 2000 dark pearl blue Si with dark gunmetal rims, very nice.

OEM taillights on Civics are always the best looking. All the aftermarket ones are way over-the-top. The 99-00 EX/Si (red/clear only) taillights look great and I think you would probably be satisfied with those.

I'm glad to hear that you don't want a body kit, and that you don't want hood scoops.

But yea, definitely don't paint your interior parts red. If you want to incorporate red, some good ideas are red seats or black seats with red stitching (as already mentioned), and also black leather e-brake and shift boots with red stitching. The best things you can do for your interior are the gauge cluster (not indiglo gauges, i'm talking about getting a nice EK gauge cluster such as the Si, Spoon, Mugen, etc.), shift/e-brake boots, a nice looking and comfortable shift ****, and the seats. Most importantly, keep your dash wiped off, the glass clean, and your carpet and floor mats clean. OEM floor mats look best (or OEM replicas), not the aftermarket universal kind from walmart.

You can also replace your gauge cluster bulbs with red LEDs. For the cluster i'd use direct replacement bulbs, preferably T1.5x-HP bulbs from superbrightleds.com. I have found these to be better and easier than modifying the cluster like in Addiction2Bass' DIY because I have had a lot of problems with Oznium LED strips burning out. I think that the climate control looks best with white LEDs, because other colors will distort the colors on the temperature selection portion.

I get most of my stuff off ebay or just local forums. Ebay is good as long as you stick with name brands for key parts.

Thanks for the suggestion, I forgot all about ebay. I didnt think of a rear lip, I'll have to check some out.

OEM S2000 seats would be pretty sick.

I like the red stitching idea for the seats. Ill have to look into all that, but most than likely Ill get getting an automatic. Have you ever seen black/red floor mats? That might be pretty sick. I didnt think of red LED lights, that be cool, but maybe a little complicated?

Has anyone ever ordered from procivic.com?
