You asked for suggestions so I will give you mine. I suggest you take that hood off. It is an absolute disgrace to your car. Please take it off.

At least you didn't waste too much money on it. Like others said, sell it to someone with no sense and get some cash for it. Invest that cash into something worthwhile on your car

I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I keep it real. No one in their right mind would drive their car like that. I hope you don't take this thread personally since you essentially asked for it. Do us all a favor, take it off now and do something, anything else.

 

aha is it that bad ay? well i thought it looked cool but maybe i was wrong. anyway i am gona put the old one on and see how i like it. good to see some real opinions.

This guy has four ****ing hoodpins on his (most likely) stock motor with a huge hood that does absolutely nothing. Why even bother arguing that it does anything good at all? It doesn't even look good.

not feeling the hood either. but i guess if you decide to keep the hood then paint it silver. if you want you should paint the trims silver. IMO... black trims on a silver car woouldn't look bad at all.

 

I dig the black and silver, but then again you can make the black work with just about any car. Look at all the carbon fiber cars out there with the hoods, trunks, mirrors and such. Black steel wheels not so much......

I do have to agree though, if your going to run that hood, I sure hope you have the power under it to back it up. A stock DX engine under that hood would be the laughing stock!

 

I'm not really feeling that hood on a Civic, it would look better on a muscle car, but not a Japanese car. If you like it though, keep it, it is your car.
