I want to get some rims for my 05 civic. But i know that alot of times putting on rims without lowering your car can look kinda gay. And i also want to lower my car, but i dont make a whole lot of money so when i do one i cant do the other for a while. Which would you guys suggest i do first? Or do you think i could get away with just rims without looking to gay. I had an integra that i put rims on and didnt lower it, i thought it looked pretty good but def needed to be lowered theres a pic at the bottom. Oh and i know the tegs foglights look gay i took them off shortly after i took that picture.

You could definately get away with rims and not lowering for a while. When you are buying your rims (whichever size you decide, I wouldn't go bigger than 17) just make sure the profile isn't too low, try to get the one closest to stock. mxs found a nice tire size calculator on www.1010tires.com it'll help you choose the best size.

 

i think it will be fine..some cars do look bad with rims without it lowerd but iv seen a couple 05 with just rims and it looks pretty good, i say do it up[sm=smiley20.gif]
