I've heard basically that for the good brands, you don't need hood pins because they make the latches properly. However, for the cheap brands you need pins because the latches are often crap.

anyone seen a stripped down evo. It's like they took a hyundai accent, then added a bunch of stuff to it.

And people say that because it works on an evo.. Or at least IMO.
And stripped down they do not look like accents. accents are ugly as fu*k made by hyundai, which IMO again, is not a solid car. Evos stripped down look like normal lancers :P and normal lancers from reall really really really really far away look like a 4dr civic.

And I say go for the hood pins. I think they look good. I won't ever get the CF hood on my car, especially one with scoops.. but throw those pins on it, and grab a muggen lip.
And I really suggest not getting euro tails.. You have an 04 coupe? I have 03.. I had some euros for like a week. I thought they would be sweet, but i was actually really dissappointed. Im back to OEM. But, hey. You might have a nice pair that may not look too bad, so who knows..
