my left headlight goes out when i turn my brights on. but im not sure because it may be a low beam? it doesnt look like my brights are on all the time so im guessing its a high beam. how do i make it so both my brights and low beams are both on each click? its a 98 civic ex coupe thanks

Your high beam could be dead. try replacing it. If it doesn't return the bulb and check for a loose wire or a fuse that's screwed.

you cannot have both brights and lows working at the same time. trust me i tried on my old crx and it worked for afew mornings and then the bulb BLEW UP!!!!!! LOL

if your high beam is burnt out just replace the bulbs. and its best to do both bulbs at the same time. otherwise you could have the ugly car with 2 different color headlights

I think it's because the brights are taking up too much power, but I'm not sure why the lows aren't just both dimming instead of one just going dead.

quick way to test the bulb is just unplug the other bulb and swap them to see if its the bulb or wiring...

Probably the high beam bulb is dead. If it is replace both highbeam bulbs. Also maybe your fuse is gone.
