I live in Ohio and I have 35% (which really isn't that dark) and 5% on the back...I've been pulled over for it once, and I was given a warning. I left it on of course, and have not had any recent trouble. In Ohio, I wouldn't go lower than 35% because cops around here enforce it pretty strictly. When I pass a cop, I just roll my front two windows down and it seems to keep me out of trouble, lol.

I have 35% all around, it's a lighter color tho, kind of silver-ish. It's perfect for me

 

My car has 25% tint, see sig. Got three tint tickets in IL about $75 each, all due to "local ordinance." Two of them I was speeding at the time but got no speeding tix. Anything darker than 25% to me makes it too hard to see out at night.

 

As dark as the law says you can go.
...And make sure it's safe for you too, that's the major thing.

Im in NJ and I have 20% all around, no problems from the cops... Pass cops leaving and coming from school, and they don't say anything. The tint is perfect, not too dark and not too light, ill post some pics.

 

well im geting em done on thursday the 7th and i talked to a local cop he said they dont enforce it in our town but they do in some neighboring townspretty strickly so i may go 35 and 5 on back windows even though i want 15 all around
btw the place im goning to get em done doesnt have anything between 35 and 15
