Default Winter prep

All right guys, as you know winter is rapidly approaching and its time to get ready. Winters in South Dakota get pretty nasty, and rock chips are way to common. So to try and protect the front end, I purchased a car bra... The problem is that car bras can scratch up the paint pretty bad. This is ghetto but, I was thinking about buying some acid free masking tape to use on the hood underneath the bra. The tape would be redone periodically (whenever it snows or rains). Any thoughts on this? [sm=smiley20.gif] or [sm=smiley21.gif]

ya some painters tape would work well under the bra. thats wut i use for numbers when i autox, it stays on pretty well and dosnt leave any gooey/sticky residue. its like $5-10 for a big roll.
