Yeah definitely make sure that you check out his work because a good quality paintjob...especially a full color change from blue to green is gonna cost alot more than $1500. Or you're gonna have a green car that looks decent but has a blue engine bay, door jambs, etc. Color changes are really involved...be careful and get a good shop to do the work if you're gonna go that route.

if you are counting votes, mine would be blue, but im prejudiced. this is the paint color on my civ, far from perfect but my first diy paint.
there are more in the gallery.

nice to see you back around JW.

I wouldnt do it, but it might be a great deal. im just wary of people like that. sometimes i will miss a good deal, but overall, youre better off taking it to a shop with insurance.

i personally have one rule about paint if its not a legal shop that can hold up to there work then its not worth it cause if a shop f's the paint up u just take it back or don't accept it when its done or simply don't pay him you can take him to court to make him fix it if not u will atleast get your money back. unless you know the guys work don't trust it. and i have never heard of a complete color change under 3 grand esp custom work...

Come to Pittsburgh Pa, Ill do it for 2g. Ill do the sanding, priming, fitting, moulding(if you want it), paint it, wet sand it, and buff it. I did mine, and like 90% of the ricers cars around the city. Mine is in my Sig, so let me know.
