Yellow headlights lens
I have seen lots of yellow headlight lens on the Hondas in Florida. I just posted this message to the ChevyS10 Forum where I learned of the Novus plastic cleaning product. I also posted it to the Novuspolish.com Testimonials.
Novus polish DOES WORK! My daughter has a 97 Honda Civic and left headlight was terribly yellow, right one was nearly like new. After reading above about Novus I went to their website and ordered the 8oz. kit. I received it this week and applied #2 cleaner with a wool bonnet on my electric drill pad at low speed. In less than 30 minutes that lens looked like new right one and with no scratches. I used it on the right one which now looks even more better. I then used the #1 polish on the wool buffing pad on both lights and they really shine now. I then applied it to my 00 dime lens, which I thought already looked new, but to my surprise, they too look even more better. I have plenty of polish left for future need. I'm thinking of advertising that I can remove yellow off headlights and go into little side cottage business. I'm a satisfied shopper of Novus plastic polish.

Don't think so DJ. You look at his other posts, sounds like he's just tryin to keep his daughter's Civvie runnin'! You should get HER on this forum so she can learn more 'bout her car. She can't go wrong tryin' to learn more 'bout what gets her from point A to point B...Maybe it'd turn into her toy as well as her ride! But congrats on gettin' that stuff cleaned off.
I am not trying to sell Novus products. I am trying to sell the readers of this forum on the product if yellow headlights are a concern for them (pretty common where I live). I am not a Novus dealer, I'm just providing an unsolicited and unpaid testimonial for a product that worked really well for me. I will note, however, that the same message I posted on the Chevy S10 Forum site had a post right below it from a guy who is a Novus dealer, and he stated that my experience with the product was exactly why he became a dealer, cause' the stuff works as advertised....maybe it'll work for you too. Skytanker, thanks for your support and reading between the lines. My baby's Civic is 180 miles away, I gotta take care of it when she brings it back home.
This may sound funny but I have found a few things that work good for cleaning"yellow" headlights. The 1st thing is toothpaste, and a wet terrycloth towel. Just swirl it on and swirl it back off as if you were buffing your car. The reason it works so well is the fine grit in the toothpaste. The 2nd item that seems to work pretty well is meguirs scratch-x it's made for taking out swirl marks it the cars clear coat. Use the same process as the toothpaste, and it works for the same reason the toothpaste did!!! hopefully this cheap trick works for you as well as it did for me!![&:]
you could try the plastic cleaners that meguiarsmakes they had worked for me plastx is real good . and i know this is an old thread hopefully this might help someone
