DC Sports SC Cat-back Exhaust
Vehicle: 2002 Civic EX
Product: DC Sports Single Canister Cat-back Exhaust
Vendor: www.ptuning.com
Cost: $450
Rating: ****
Ok this exhaust is a bit on the loud side, I believe just shy of 95db. But great looking, easy bolt on, may require some adjusting to get it centered with your bumper exhaust curve. Power gains were increased, nothing to the effect of putting you back in your seat but definately there. Canister and 4" tip are polished while the rest is brushed stainless steel. At low rpm has a mean growl while above 5k rpms, still a nice deep tone but more on the screaming side, I will upload a sound clip eventually (I promise).
Installation was simple, bolts right up to stock header, or any Civic header for that matter. I did have a problem with the bolts/nuts on the stock header being completely rusted that I had to get cut off but no big deal. I also had a slight problem with the exhaust vibrating off the sway bar around harder accelerating left turns. Nothing a lil ingenuity couldn't fix.
Overall very good product!!
