Default Clean/Replacing Headlights

The headlights on my '98 Civic DX are all foggy/cloudy and I've seen the 3M headlight restoration kit, but I figure it would be easier to just replace the headlights because I'm not a huge fan of the stock ones anyways. However, I'm not sure which ones would look the best. I know this is a matter of opinion, but which ones do you think would look best with the black paint and the tail lights (pictures of mine can be seen in my gallery)?

The front bumper doesn't have to come off to switch out the headlights right? Is it just the two screws on the top/back of the light assembly that hold them in?

There are actually 4 screws. The two on the top, one on the inside under the bumper, and one on the outside under the bumper. So yes, you do have to pull the front bumper.

I like those first ones. They're a nice simple black housing light. But it's funny that the demo pic has a big *** dent in the hood.

Alright, this is going to sound stupid, but how do you remove the front bumper?

Thanks for the link, it doesn't seem to bad to do.

And I was leaning towards the first ones, it looks like they will go good with the black paint.

Save yourself some money and try to restore the headlights you have. If they come out looking good, then you can open them up and just paint them black.

Hobo did it to his, and they look really good
