17ish here last i checked. not bad. i was worried about taking my clarinet out to the car before it warmed up (i had a concert tonight) cuz i didnt want it to crack from the 'cold'
fortunately enough it was warm enough in the car to the point where i wasnt too worried. yay

Walking home in chicago = not fun. Yea its pretty cold, about 20. However, last year i remember it getting down to 0 and the windchill well below (-15). And last year, i had to walk to and from school every morning cause i only lived 3-4 blocks from school. Now im about 1.5mi so i get a ride, if im lucky.

it's freezing rain here...just went to take out the trash...landed on my behind a few times before I was able to get to the container...it's like an ice skating rink, but bumpy as hell...and it's wet...and it's like 2 inches of ice...I bet I won't be able to go anywhere in the civic tomorrow...I shoulda bought my planned LSD before...

Holy moly! Its like a low of 50 during the day here. The sad part is today..I wore pants with a sweater and a big puffy jacket, a scarf and gloves, and blasted my heater in my car the whole way to my dentist appt. (like an hour) Ive lived in places like Washington and Maryland where it snows, and it gets cold. I lived in Spokane, pretty close up there to Canada, and I remember it being in single digits. But now I complain when its at 50. My ideal temp is 80. Thats perfect. If it stayed 80 year round id be happy. I do love the snow tho and going to Tahoe and snowboarding..I just like to come home to warm temps, and a comfy place to rest my sore body after snowboarding.
