Here is a link... these guys didn't seem very impressed by what that engine can do... but whatever. Still worth looking at.

It loses 20hp from the crank to the wheels?[]

How the hell does that happen in a FWD car?


Maybe it's just a bad dyno.
I've gotten on those before.

a bad dyno? thats like, barely over 10% drivetrain loss. thats fantastic. most front drivers lose 15%+. which actually means its not lower drivetrain losses, but higher engine rating than the factory advertised. looks more like 205-210 crank hp. and look at that crazy-flat torque curve. sure the torques not huge, but im seeing some huge low-end torque gains over previous honda motors.

That is quite impressive tho. I can't wait to take my test drive. It'll be interesting to drive a honda with that much power on demand.
