Wow. That sucks. Im from Norcal, and to be completely honest, you might want to prepare yourself for the luxury of public transportation. I just got my first speeding ticket for 15 over, and it I believe is about $200. But I got an unsafe passing ticket a lil over a year ago, and when I went to court to fight it, there was a kid with 100+ in the court room and the judge literally had him take his license out of his wallet and suspended it. Hopefully you can get a lenient judge. And Levi, how the hell did you get away with that??? I thought doubling the speed limit, plus like 4 miles an hour or something is a felony also. I also have heard that 20 or more over, they have the right to take you to jail.

Hey man I know the feeling and it sucks ***. You all know that Cali rules are a lot more tougher than the rest of the states. They have there own code book on what you can do to your car. Damm belive it thick to. i had a fix it ticket about 2 years back for those damm washer led lights. Dont goet caught with them out there. I didn't know the rules at all out there. So don't get caught doing something stupid like driving 110 in a 60. Its not good at all.

I believe 30 over the cop can take you to jail, The cop told me he could of if he wanted to, he also said if I go to court I will definitley be getting my liscence suspended. Some guys at work said to go to court in service dress uniform, but I dont think ill do that, i dont want to look like a suck as$.

Going in uniform is not a bad idea at all. Johny law will go a little easier on you if you are in the military, kinda like a repayment for sercing our country with your life.

30 over is deff not a felony cause mine wasnt a felony and I didnt get my lisence suspended or anything really besides the 300 bucks in fines. The worst part though was the insurance, by far. It doubled. Kinda sucks though, the ticket finally fell off my record right about the time my Si got stolen which also doubled my insurance. I just cant win.

Is failure to dim headlights a moving vilation?

I guess so, it was 3:30 in the morning and i was coming home, the cop said he flased his lights at me and i didnt dim my brights, funny thing was there was like no one on the road anyway.

I second Leviii, DO go in uniform. At the very least, it couldn't hurt.

Also... am I the only person here who's never been pulled over for speeding, let alone gotten a ticket? And yea, I speed, I just... I dunno. Maybe Seattle is the place to live.

20 over is considered reckless ops( in ohio for sure, PA as well i think)., which is why if your going like 90 in a 65, a cop will but 84+ on ur ticket.. keeps your fine down

did you not show them ur military ID.? that should keep you from getting a ticket at all. give your id to a cop and not your DL first..then see if her wants your DL still. but yes. go in uniform.

and I have yet to get a ticket when i was actually speeding and knowing i could get a ticket.

my first ticket was doin 50 in a 35.(because i was doin 50 in a 45 (legal) and i hit a city change and the speedlimit dropped and i didnt realize it.(cop was drivin to right on the city line)

the second was 77 in a 65 on the TURNPIKE. at 2am in the morning. how bulshyt is that?? i even saw the cop in the distance, looked at my speed, and kept driving, didnt even think i needed to slow down. iv goten passed on the turnpike goin 85 by a cop and they never pull you over.

so i can KINDA say that iv never goten pulled over for speeding..iv goten pulled over for bull.

( and on an avg. day, im do 15-25 mph over the limit) so im not drivin slow.

how many points do you have on your DL?

I got pulled last year going 92 in a 55 and I got a 375 dollar fine and 6 points taken from my license, but I live in South Carolina the opposite coast so the laws are probably different
