tru, mine 2, they should just screw the hybrids and bring back the old toyotas and hondas and everything will be more fuel effiecient

Also, those old cars were missing lots of other weight -stuff we take for granted now - a lot of them didn't have power steering, power brakes, power windows, AC insome cases, etc.
In response to the originallist, I'm notsurprised to see the high-peformance cars (Lambo, Bugatti, etc) on there, but a JeepGrand Cherokee? Geez.

I got 18-19MPG with my buddy's 5.7LHemi Grand Cherokee Limited with full-time 4WD. I set the cruise at 55-60MPH. He usually gets 13-15MPG. When he tows his 6,000+lb boat, it gets even worse. For 340HP or so, I guess that's not too bad for a luxury gas SUV with AWDthat can tow 7200lb.
I don't think the SRT 6.1L Hemi version does any better on mileage, and I don't think it'll tow as much, but the power is pretty insane for an SUV.

You forgot the diesels. TDI... somewhere around 55 mph if I remember correctly? Above 40 I know that for sure.

I love diesel engines. Those and rotary engines are very impressive, though unfortunately have slight drawbacks =/ Diesels also tend to last a lot longer (depenind on the driver of course).
