considering the title of this thread is '3 inch drop', have you read up (or know) what it takes to set up the car after it has been lowered? especially on stock struts and nonadjustable suspension.

OP,

Your problem with modding your car is you have no patience. Most people on this forum take 6 months to a year to do major mods to their car. The average person cant just shell out the cash all at once. You need to take time to research things before you buy. Dropping your civic 3inchs is sooo much. Also, stop swearing...you look like an idiot(and you wonder why you cant get a job) Good luck with fixing your suspension, hope you dont crash. And stop asking to drive trusts car. Gives me the creeps and its not even my car your trying to drive

And this is helping your case how? My point was that you welded it. To weld metal, you have to melt the pieces together slightly, which involves quite a bit of heat.

So why do you try to do it anyway? Do you know it took me well over 4 months from the time I started ordering parts to the time I actually slammed my civic (the right way)? Do you think I did all the work to my mustang in one sitting? You have to have patience in this hobby; you can't just get impatient and throw things together, because you'll most likely end up with a broken car.

+1 on the "it not actually being done" thing. No offense, but you've proven yourself to be an attention ***** so far. Show me proof that it's actually happened and I'll apologize for the attention ***** thing, but until then, I'm raising the BS flag.

And if another mod/admin sees fit to lock this thread, so be it. But I'm not going to lock it; maybe all this fail might teach you a lesson about following sound advice.

Actually, no, they have a newish technology that allows us to weld practically any two (different) common structural metals and weld them together using only friction. But that doesn't matter considering he used a soldering iron.

lawls shouldn't you be shoveling a driveway for some petty cash instead of crying on here how you need money?

He should almost find some stock springs from a wreckers for 20 bucks if he can, and THEN save for shocks and springs or full coilovers. It will be so much better for you and safer especially since you're going to blow your shocks soon if you don't. I wouldn't worry about the SRI especially since it's just a wistle noise unless it really is just a steel screen and not actually a filter. When you do drop your car GET an alignment within the week or two and buy a camber kit as soon as possible since it cheaper to buy a camber kit then buying a new set of tires every year. Other members might have a different opinion on this, but this is mine.

And obviously you've forgotten since you almost bought an EBAY Special Coilover Sleeves.

Have you ever considered RESEARCHING ANYTHING before you do it Mr Magoo?

By the way, have you EVER used a search button before? it's very helpful at reading previous DIYs , and other users previous experiences... It will save YOU Money, Time, and GRIEF

When you're dropping 3 inches on a 6th gen, it's not opinion, it's fact.
