Audis are typically troublesome, high (expensive) maintenance cars. I for one would bail.

However, if you'd like, take it up to an Audi dealer for a full service inspection. They'll be able to tell you everything it needs, and a ballpark estimate as to how much it'll cost you.

Windshield - about $500 all said and done, turbo you're looking at around $700. I would pass...

is that 700 for the turbo itself or for labor+part..the reason y is cuz my gf's father is a mechanic and he does all my major work for me for free..and he gets parts 1/2 off from parts stores...and thats all i pay...i also seen peoples reviews and they all say that the car is always wanting new parts..

It's an Audi... I wouldn't bother. If you know anyone who's owned a Jetta, you'll understand why I'll never own a VW or an Audi.

But +1 on taking it to a dealership to have it looked over and get an estimate.

YOu will want a NEW turbo. They use the KKK K03 I believe and those suck. Especially used ones. That's 700 for a new one if you look hard enough.
