Its not... its there to stabilize it... the site where i got it from had a bunch of people fighting like seaguls over chicken about the support wire thing. Its there so the guy doesnt end up going off the ramp... youll notice at the end they also use it to lower it down. You know just a bunch of "internet thugs" yelling at each other.

 

It's also there to stop him when he can't go any further so that he doesn't slide back down and launch off a cliff.

 

after all its an audi A8... forget about the dudes life.
