lol I'll ask Pat what we can do about that.

Seriously though I started turning wrenches when I was about 16 when I got my first car I bought with my own money. A 1984 Toyota Tercel hatchback 4 spd lol. I didnt have money to put it in the shop so I had to teach myself and then about when I was 17 or 18 the internet was becoming more and more household thing and forum came around which were a great help.

I did end up getting that headlight fluid stuff today at the gas station. Was only $11.99 for a bottle

You should have gotten that green tinted fluid in a gallon jug with "Prestone" written on it. Green headlights FTMFW

hcf rules of thumb:

1) Do not take any post in OT and/or the Lounge seriously. Especially the lounge.
2) Do not take any non-tech related posts by: Stifflersmom, Marty, 315 Customs, trustdestruction, jprommel, GReddy_Civic, or myself seriously.

Oh, and just because I said "Rule of thumb",

"Well, we can't do very much damage with that, now can we? Perhaps it should've been the rule or wrist."

If you can name the movie, you get a prize*!

*disclaimer: there is no prize

My dad was a mechanic for 10 years and has always done his own work on his cars, so I've been helping him since I can remember. That, the internet, and me just tinkering with my car is what I have learned from.
