Yea, the local Pep Boys recently jacked all their prices. Royal Purple Oil went from $5.99 to $6.75, as did everything else in the store. I went to walmart today and got a 5 QT jug of Mobile 1 Full Synthetic 5W 30 for 20 bucks. Looks like im changing oil brand names.

 

screw pep boys...let them go out of business...

 

Couldn't you buy royal purple by the case online?

 

i get mine at a&a autoparts get some friends in there and they can hook ya up. thats if u have a a&a

 

Shipping kills it. Mobile 1 Full Synth is ok, It should be good stuff. Hell, my oil changes are expensive enough as is, I need not spend 6.75 per qt of oil, plus 4$ for my napa gold filter. With tax that would be $32.86 per oil change. W/ the mobile its $26.36 for an oil change, with the napa filter.....oh and thats 5 qts of oil, not 4. I like royal purple, but not for that $$

Yea but i NEED fully Synthetic........my car will cook dyno oil.

 

i noticed that too i think they jacked up the price cuz napa doesnt carry it anymore so its hard to find therefore they jack up the price

 

i use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. its not bad.
