Default Any good consumer product for scuff marks?

Looking for something to take some scuff marks off a bumper...anything out there you can just rub on? I think I saw something on TV before but I don't know the good from the bad.

Scuff marks from what? shoe marks from a run down pedestrian? scratches? Found paint on your bumper? A scraped place can be buffed out with buffing compound and a buffer to re-polish the chrome in that area. Jewelers rouge works best for like new chrome finish. If you are talking about products that make wild claims that magically cure all blemishes....I avoid them because they are a waste of money. All kinds of scams out there...just don't take them at face value. You can research a product before you buy it to make sure it performs as advertised.

if the scuffs are through the paint the only think that will fix them is a new paint job. Rubbing compound and a buffer will get out any scuffs that are not through the paint and will probably make the deep ones at least less noticable.

yah i would start with something like 3M's Rubbing compound, follow it up with their Finishing Material, and seal it up with some 3M Scotchguard liquid wax.
