anyone a actual........
well this program is a co-op, i'm working while i'm in school but its in 2 month intervals. 2 months in school/work part time, 2 months work full-time...for 2 years. while i'm working, i'm saving to go to the Jim Russell Racing Drivers school in Sonoma, Cali. to take their Mechanics Training program. main reason i'm doing the T-TEN program is to learn as much as i can while making some money at the same time, and it'll also allow me to have something to fall back on. this way i'll have a bit of a head start when going to the other school. ultimately, i'd like to get onto some sort of big name racing team as a tech or possibly do some research/development for big race car teams. i enjoy fixing cars, but i'd fix a car with a bigger purpose than someone just driving it around town..
Flip, are you saying here that you are not a professional mechanic? I ask because your answer in the poll contradicts this comment.
well not sure what to answer i used to work for my dad out in our shop for awhile. im am mechanically handy... i do my own work and help fix my friends car when i can....
and i do have almost a full shop to work out from.
id say im on the fence. always learning more when i do a new job for myself or for friends. the way i learn is to just do it. id like to thing im a all around kinda guy. one good thing about my dad is he taught me alot! from home repair to auto repair.
