I was thinking the same thing... BUT a computer can do a little more things than a car can... $4500 is alot on a computer though, especially since it will be obsolete by the end of the year!

I've been using Vista Ultimate (RC2) for 3 months now... no issues... that's an odd issue that it just disappears... mine does the same thing as XP... turns to a type/highlight cursor...
I need to make an advertisement for MOAB (Month of Apple Bugs) to combat that funny.. but not-so-true Mac commercial... They're just trying to gain more than 4% of the market share... LOL
P.S. That Vista commercial is pretty funny... but... then again... try to put OSX on an Apple II. Even a G3 would have a rough time with it. Vista takes a more robust computer, that's true... but not every PC has to be upgraded (mine didn't)

its an easy fix. return it, and buy a mac
seriously, if its an entertainment purpose computer...mac all the way
iv been converted for 3 months, i have a 2000$ macbook and i run a massive music production program and two software instrument programs simultaneously (sometimes with msn, itunes, and internet ontop) and have yet to experience a single little hicup or freeze

Hey projectGSR... so you have no problems with ultimate? I have the home premium and my mouse dissappears over any text... is it a feature or a flaw, do you think? This computer has everything we need but only costed 1200 at costco! Really happy with it. It is a dual core VIIV.

on everyone should know that windows goes like this, 2 good operating sysytems 1 terrible one, then 2 good ones.
